About us

Lindsey Lawrence
LCSW, LCAC
Owner/Co-founder
I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Point Loma Nazarene University, and Master’s degree in Social Work from the Indiana University School of Social Work. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor.
I think of therapy as a building block for healing and personal growth, and see it as a collaboration between therapist and client. Brene Brown states it best, “We don’t have to do it all alone. We were never meant to”. I hope to provide opportunities for clients to share their stories in an environment that is safe and non-judgmental so that the healing and growth process can begin. I work closely with each person in forming and reaching their own goals.
I was raised overseas due to my family's occupation, which provided me with rich cultural experiences. I am considered to be a "third cultured kid", and have used this experience in helping others with challenges of adjusting to new environments and cultures. My work experience includes working with individuals and families that are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, anger management, substance abuse, social skills, family of origin conflicts, grief and loss, self-esteem and body image issues, and relationship challenges. I welcome adolescents ages 11 and older, adults, couples and families.

I believe therapy is an individualized experience and will look different for every client. Therapy is most effective when the client and therapist work in collaboration toward aimed goals. I enjoy incorporating faith into session and am experienced in doing so. I also respect client autonomy and will only incorporate this if my client expresses this desire.
I believe each individual has the ability to overcome, heal, and grow through setbacks, generational chains, situational or physiological pain/hardships, life’s demands, and disappointments. I work closely with each client to unlock their full potential through exploration, support, encouragement, and guidance.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Anderson University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have extensive experience working with individuals, families, and groups in a variety of settings, including children, adolescents and adults.
I am committed to providing quality care to each individual client and take a collaborative, client-centered approach in doing so. I believe in the ability for individuals and families to find healing through their story and relief from mental anguish or emotional pain. I believe therapy provides a unique pathway for individuals and families to begin to explore their emotions, common patterns, influence of past experiences, and therapeutic goals for reaching a desired outcome. I am privileged to be a part of this process and look forward to meeting my client’s goals.
I work with individuals, couples and families in the following areas: depression, anxiety, trauma, social skills, adjustment concerns, ADHD, anger management, self-esteem, post-partum depression, personal growth and relationship issues. I see adults and children from the age of 8 years and older.

Ashley Millwee,

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Toledo and am completing my Master’s degree in Social Work at Indiana University. With over a decade of experience in human services, I have supported children, adults, and families through high-stress situations, trauma, relationship conflict, and mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, perfectionism, motivation struggles, and athlete mental wellness, including performance anxiety and resilience. I also work with couples navigating communication difficulties, conflict, and life transitions.
My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and somatic-informed approaches to help clients build insight, coping skills, and meaningful change. As a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, I also value the mind-body connection and incorporate practical mindfulness strategies into care.
I believe healing looks different for everyone, and I strive to create a supportive space where clients can explore what wellness means for them. I work with children (8+), adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
