Your provider is dedicated to prescribing appropriate medication to treat your symptoms, prescriptions for medication that might have negative long-term side effects will not be prescribed. Your medication provider does not routinely prescribe benzodiazepines and will not prescribe them for long-term use.  Should you present to your initial appointment and report that you are currently taking a benzodiazepine, the dose will immediately be decreased and appointments scheduled will be done with the goal of stopping this medication.
